Tesla supplier Panasonic is considering increasing its investment in battery production in Kansas, USA, where it has started constructing its second plant in De Soto for four billion US dollars.

BMW has started construction of a production facility for high-voltage batteries in Rayong, Thailand. The 40-million-euro project is to be followed by the production of all-electric vehicles in 2025.
