Obwohl wir erst Anfang Februar dieses Jahres das letzte Update zur Batteriezellfertigung in Europa gegeben hatten, sind schon heute, Mitte März, zwei weitere Projekte hinzu gekommen. Mit Italvolt erhält Italien seine erste industrielle Batteriezellfertigung, getrieben von Lars Carlstrom, der zuvor auch schon Britishvolt gegründet hatte. In Russland strebt der Atomkonzern Rosatom ebenfalls die Produktion von Batterien an. Brand aktuell, zeigen sich auch die Gerüchte, dass in Barcelona eine Batteriezellfertigung entstehen könnte, die wir jedoch noch nicht auf unsere Karte mit aufgenommen haben, von der wir aber ausgehen, dass diese kommen wird. Sehr aktiv bei letzterem ist unter anderem auch VW.
Diese Entwicklung zeigt, dass die Geschwindigkeit des Aufbaus von Batterieproduktionskapazitäten in Europa, wie vermute, auch in diesem Jahr bestehen bleibt. So gibt es nach unserer Recherche aktuell 24 verschiedene Batterieprojekte und gegebenen falls, mit Barcelona, bald sogar 25.
