Zum Februar 2022 präsentiert „Battery-News.de“ eine aktualisierte Übersichtskarte zur Zellfertigung in Europa. Die entsprechenden Daten stammen dabei wie gewohnt aus offiziellen Mitteilungen der jeweiligen Akteure sowie aus Quellen zur Batterieproduktion.

Was ist neu? Eine kurze Übersicht

Nachdem die erste Zelle im schwedischen Skellefteå produziert wurde, plant Northvolt eine Erhöhung der Jahreskapazität auf 60 Gigawattstunden. Ergänzend dazu kündigt Northvolt eine weitere Gigafactory mit einer Jahreskapazität von 50 Gigawattstunden in Göteborg an. Während „Blackstone Resources“ seine Pläne zur Vergrößerung auf fünf Gigawattstunden veröffentlicht, legt das französische Unternehmen Verkor den Produktionsstandort für seine geplante 50-Gigawattstunden-Fabrik fest.

Jahreskapazität: Monitor zeigt Entwicklung auf

Eine kompakte Übersicht zur geplanten Jahreskapazität für in Europa produzierte Batteriezellen bietet ab sofort ein neuer kleiner Monitor, der die Entwicklung im Vergleich zur letzten Batteriezellkarte aufzeigt. Außerdem ist die Grafik jetzt auch in englischer Sprache erhältlich.

As of February 2022, „Battery-News.de“ presents an updated overview map of cell production in Europe. As usual, the corresponding data is taken from official announcements of the respective players as well as from sources on battery production.

What’s new? A brief overview

After producing the first cell in Skellefteå, Sweden, Northvolt plans to increase annual capacity to 60 gigawatt hours. Complementing this, Northvolt announced another gigafactory with an annual capacity of 50 gigawatt-hours in Gothenburg. While „Blackstone Resources“ publishes its plans to increase capacity to five gigawatt-hours, the French company Verkor specifies the production site for its planned 50 gigawatt-hour factory.

Annual capacity: Monitor shows development

A compact overview of the planned annual capacity for battery cells produced in Europe is now available in the shape of a new little monitor that shows the development compared to the last battery cell chart. In addition, the graphic is now also available in English.
