Die japanische Tageszeitung The Yomiuri Shimbun mit Sitz in Tokio will exklusiv erfahren haben, dass sich Nissan, Renault und Mitsubishi für eine Verstärkung der gemeinsamen Geschäfte entschieden haben. So sollen zukünftig die Entwicklung von EV gemeinsam erfolgen. Gleichzeitig sollen wichtige Teile wie Batterien und Elektromotoren gegenseitig ausgetauscht werden. Der Schritt könnte mit dem Zurückgang der Verkäufe u.a. durch die Corona-Pandemie beschleunigt worden sein.

Entsprechende Bestätigungen sollen rund um den Halbjahreswechsel erfolgen und in den Plänen für Mai berücksichtigt sein.
