In drei Broschüren haben sich das PEM der RWTH Aachen und der VDMA dieser Frage erneut gewidmet und die Produktionsprozesse der Batteriezelle sowie des Batteriemoduls und des Batteriepacks analysiert. Im Einzelnen wurde ein Trio der Batterieprozessbroschüren veröffentlicht.

Die erste Broschüre zu dem Thema „Produktionsprozess einer Lithium-Ionen-Batteriezelle“ widmet sich dem Herstellungsprozess der Lithium-Ionen-Zelle. Dargestellt wird sowohl die grundlegende Prozesskette der Lithium-Ionen-Zellproduktion, als auch detaillierte Informationen zu den einzelnen Prozessen. Bei der aktuellen Version handelt es sich bereits um die dritte Auflage, nun mit einem grundlegenden Update. Alle Inhalte wurden reflektiert und hinsichtlich des neusten Stand der Technik aktualisiert.

Die zweite Broschüre zu dem Thema „Montageprozess eines Batteriemoduls und -packs“ beschäftigt sich sowohl mit der Modulassemblierung als auch mit der Batteriepack-, bzw. Batteriesystemassemblierung. Mit dieser Broschüre war es das Ziel, das systematisch erarbeitete Wissen zu den Prozessen aufzubereiten und anschaulich zu transportieren. Die Broschüre soll damit eine Grundlage für die Planung von Montagelinien von Batteriemodulen und Batteriepacks dienen. Auch bei dieser Veröffentlichung handelt es sich bereits um die dritte Auflage, die ähnlich zu der Broschüre zu der Lithium-Ionen-Zelle mit umfangreichen Informationen aktualisiert und ergänzt wurde.

Den Abschluss des Trios zu der Batterieproduktion bildet die Broschüre zur „Produktion einer All-Solid-State-Batteriezelle“. Die neue Batterietechnologie ermöglicht höhere Energiedichten und höhere Sicherheit bei niedrigeren Kosten – zumindest ist dies die Vorstellung von vielen Forschungseinrichtungen. „Innerhalb der nächsten zehn Jahre wird die Festkörperzelle die Elektromobilität erheblich mitbestimmen. Einen Schlüssel für die Industrialisierung dieser Technologie stellt die benötigte Produktionstechnik dar. Wer in Zukunft Festkörperzellen produzieren will, benötigt auch Know-how aus der klassischen Lithium-Ionen Batterieproduktion.“, sagt Dr. Heiner Heimes (Oberingenieur und Leiter des Elektromobilitätslabors). Die Broschüre zeigt anschaulich welche Technologien existieren und wie eine mögliche produktionstechnische Umsetzung aussehen könnte.

Mithilfe des Trios dieser drei Batterieprozessbroschüren soll das Verständnis der Produktionstechnik hinter der Batterie gestärkt werden.
