Das Start-up-Unternehmen E-Lyte Innovations GmbH hat den Ausbau seiner Fertigungskapazitäten für flüssigen Elektrolyten auf mehrere tausend Tonnen pro Jahr angekündigt. Angaben des Batteriezulieferers aus Münster zufolge soll der Produktionsstandort in Deutschland errichtet werden und spezifische Elektrolytlösungen für den Automotive-Bereich anbieten, um die Lieferkette in Europa zu stabilisieren.

Joint Venture mit bekannten Akteuren

Der seit drei Jahren bestehende Betrieb gründet dafür ein Joint Venture mit der FUCHS Schmierstoffe GmbH sowie der Customcells Holding GmbH und möchte bereits im Sommer 2023 mit der Produktion beginnen. Zur weiteren Industrialisierung und Skalierung sowie zur Ermöglichung weiteren Wachstums soll die Fertigungsinfrastruktur an einem FUCHS-Standort in Kaiserslautern aufgebaut werden.
