Zum Jahresausklang 2021 präsentiert „Battery-News.de“ eine Übersichtskarte zu den primär verwendeten und geplanten Zellchemien in Europa. Die entsprechenden Daten stammen dabei wie gewohnt aus offiziellen Mitteilungen der jeweiligen Akteure sowie aus weitestgehend gesicherten Quellen zur Batterieproduktion. Die durch ein * gekennzeichneten Zellchemien basieren auf Annahmen, die aus Medienberichten Dritter stammen.
NMC liegt an der Spitze
Lithium-Nickel-Mangan-Cobalt-Oxid (NMC) ist die derzeit am meisten verwendete Zellchemie in den Produktionsstätten innerhalb Europas. Eine genaue Klassifizierung der jeweiligen Massenanteile des Mischoxids ist nicht verfügbar.
