Das baden-württembergische Unternehmen ystral hat ein neues Verfahren zur erheblichen Beschleunigung des Mischverfahrens auf den Markt gebracht. Die „Batt-TDS“-Technologie soll die Verteilung von Aktivmaterialien innerhalb von Millisekunden ermöglichen. Der gesamte Mischprozess soll sich von mehreren Stunden auf wenige Minuten reduzieren lassen. Interessierte sind zu einem kostenfreien Webinar eingeladen.

Abkehr vom Planetenmischer?
In seiner Online-Präsentation will das in Ballrechten-Dottingen beheimatete Unternehmen sein neues Mischverfahren technisch erklären. Der Betrieb gilt als Experte in der prozesstechnischen Herstellung der aktiven Substanzen von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, der sogenannten Slurries. „Batt-TDS“ soll das bis dato stundenlange und mit Hilfe von Planetenmischern vorgenommene Vermengen ersetzen können. Der gesamte Prozess des Mischens dadurch künftig nur noch wenige Minuten dauern.

Zehnmal produktiver als bisherige Verfahren
Dadurch ergibt sich laut ystral eine mehr als 10-fach höhere Produktivität im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Technologien. Bereits erfolgte Versuche des Unternehmens ließen sich „problemlos auf unterschiedliche Produktionsmaßstäbe skalieren“. Die entwickelte Modellreihe beginne bei Systemen mit einer Zwölf-Liter-Einheit für die schnelle Umsetzung von Testreihen in der Batterieproduktion und zum Prozess-Screening. Sie ende indes bei Anlagen, die bis zu 5.000 Liter pro Stunde verarbeiten können.
