Tesla-Chef Elon Musk hat vor kurzem unerwartet die Baustelle für seine neue Gigafactory in Grünheide besucht. Am brandenburgischen Standort kündigte Musk an, die Batterieproduktion trotz der bisherigen Verzögerungen noch im laufenden Jahr aufzunehmen.

„Am Ende ist nichts mehr erlaubt“
Dabei äußerte Musk sich auf Anfrage vor Ort auch zu den bürokratischen Hürden, die das Projekt seit dem Beginn begleiten. In bekannter Abneigung gegenüber den zahlreichen zeitaufwendigen Verfahren bei Bauvorhaben in Deutschland meinte Musk, dass Vorschriften „unsterblich“ seien. Wenn sie niemand hinterfrage, führten diese zu immer mehr Bürokratie. Am Ende sei praktisch nichts mehr erlaubt.

Im Zuge eines Gerichtsverfahrens zu seinem Bauvorhaben hatte Musk bereits auf zehn Seiten Vorschläge dazu niedergeschrieben, wie sich Prozesse verschlanken ließen. „Es sieht so aus, als wären wir in der Lage, die Produktion Ende des Jahres zu beginnen“, sagte Musk nun vorsichtig optimistisch. Für einen erfolgreichen Produktionsstart müssten allerdings alle Elemente der Fabrik vorhanden sein.
