Im Rahmen des EPTs informiert das PEM der RWTH am 08.10.2020 im Expertenseminar Batterieentwicklung und -sicherheit umfassend grundlegende Fragen der Sicherheit.

Expertenseminar „Batteriesicherheit: vom Engineering bis zur Produktion“ Die Elektrifizierung des Antriebsstrangs ist ein fundamentaler Wandel in der Automobilbranche und stellt etablierte Unternehmen vor große Herausforderungen. Insbesondere durch den Einzug des Hochvoltspeichers als gänzlich neue Komponente im Fahrzeug werden grundlegende Fragen der Sicherheit aufgeworfen. Sicherheitsfragen stellen sich dabei entlang des gesamten Lebenszyklus des Hochvoltspeichers angefangen bei der Entwicklung und Zertifizierung, dem Betrieb im Fahrzeug über die Batteriezellproduktion und Batteriesystemmontage bis hin zur generellen Handhabung von Batterien (z.B. Lagerung, Transport oder Demontage). Den Teilnehmern des Expertenseminars werden in Fachvorträgen bestehende Gefahren und entsprechende Maßnahmen aufgezeigt.
