Der europäische Batteriezellfertigungsmarkt baut seine industriellen Produktionskapazitäten erheblich aus. Die größten Batteriezellfertigungsstandorte werden nach bisher angekündigten Projekten in den nächsten Jahren eine Batterieproduktionsleistung von über 450 GWh erreichen. Mehr als 170 GWh Produktionsleistung entfallen hierbei allein auf den deutschen Markt. CATL plant aktuell mit einer Produktionsleistung von bis zu 100 GWh die größte angekündigte Batteriezellfertigungsanlage in Europa, in Erfurt. Bis heute 16 verschiedene Unternehmen, darunter Batteriezellhersteller, Start-Ups und OEMs teilen sich den europäischen Batteriemarkt in den nächsten Jahren.
