Die Elektromobilität ist weltweit im Kommen. Auch große deutsche OEMs haben zum Jahr 2020 bereits verschiedene batterieelektrische Fahrzeuge auf den Markt gebracht und viele weitere sollen kommen. Klar ist, dass VW, Daimler, BMW und Co. den Anspruch haben die besten Elektrofahrzeuge der Welt zu produzieren. Aber was ist mit dem wesentlichsten Bestandteil des elektrischen Fahrens der Batterie? Hier hinkt der deutsche Markt weit hinter Asien und Nordamerika zurück. Erkannt wurde die Problematik inzwischen bereits durch Politik, Wissenschaft und Industrie und vor allem in der Politik ist das Ziel, dass Deutschland auf der Batterielandkarte erscheint.
