Obwohl Akasol im ersten Quartal die Gesamtleistung der Produktionskapazitäten ausweiten kann und nach eigenen Angaben „bedeutende Meilensteine erreicht habe“, muss das Unternehmen einen EBIT Verlust von 2,4 Mio. € im ersten Quartal des Jahres 2020 verkraften. Ein Verlust der im Rahmen der Covid-19 Pandemie von Akasol bereits, auch in der nun präsentierten Höhe, erwartet wurde.
Trotz des Verlusts im ersten Quartal sieht die Gesamtsituation für Akasol jedoch gut aus, denn wie Akasol ebenso, am 25.05.2020, mitteilte sei die Gesamtauftragslage aktuell stabil. Akasol konnte mit einer Gesamtleistung von 12,9 Mio.€ im Vergleich zu 10,1 Mio. € im Vorjahr die eigene Produktionsleistung, für vor allem Lithium-Ionen-Batterien in mobilen und stationären Anwendungen, um 22% steigern. Und auch längerfristig ist die Perspektive für Akasol gut. Bis zum Jahr 2027 steht ein Auftragsbestand von ca. 2 Mrd. € in den Geschäftsbüchern des Unternehmens.
Ein Blick auf den Aktienkurs von Akasol offenbart zudem, dass auch Anleger die Entwicklung honorieren. Das Unternehmen dotiert heute trotz den Turbulenzen am Aktienmarkt, im Zuge von Covid-19, ca. 4 € höher als zum Jahreswechsel.
In seinem Bereicht hebt Akasol die Innovationsfähigkeit des Unternehmens am Beispiel der langfristigen Partnerschaft mit dem Unternehmen Alstom hervor. Hier liefert Akasol Batteriesysteme für die weltweit ersten Brennstoffzellen betriebenen Nahverkehrszüge. Dazu sagte Unternehmes CEO Sven Schulz: „Mit dem Auftrag von ALSTOM unterstreichen wir unsere weitreichende Expertise in der Entwicklung von Hochleistungs-Batteriesystemen, die neben ihrem Einsatz in vollelektrischen Fahrzeugen ebenfalls für alternative Antriebstechnologien wie beispielsweise im Bereich der Wasserstoff-Antriebe essenziell sind. Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bahntechnik-Spezialisten werten wir als klare Bestätigung, dass wir auch für den Schienenverkehr als Teil des Off-Highway-Bereichs ein wichtiger strategischer Partner sind, der genau die Batteriesystemlösungen anbietet, die der Markt für innovative und zukunftsfähige E-Mobilitätskonzepte erwartet”
