Der VDMA-Branchenführer bietet einen Überblick über europäische Akteure der Batterieproduktion von der Elektrodenfertigung über die Zellassemblierung bis zur Modul- und Packmontage.
Der Maschinenbau „Made in Europe“ spielt mit Deutschland als starker Maschinenbaustandort eine zentrale Rolle in der Energiewende. Im Bereich Batterieproduktion, der durch Elektromobilität und stationäre Speicher zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt, sind Charakteristiken wie höchste Qualität, permanente Prozessinnovation, effektive Automatisierung sowie Flexibilität, Schnelligkeit, Servicestärke und die Bereitschaft zu unkonventionellen, individuellen Lösungen die durch den deutschen Maschinenbau abgedeckt werden, aktuell besonders wichtig. Der VDMA-Branchenführer gibt einen Überblick über die Mitglieder des Industriekreises Batterieproduktion und zeigt, welche Firma welches Know-How oder Technik anbieten kann. „Angefangen bei Fertigungslösungen für die Produktion von Komponenten über die Elektrodenfertigung und Zellassemblierung bis hin zur Modul- und Packmontage – in unserem Branchenführer zeigen unsere Mitgliedsfirmen ihre Expertise als wichtige Enabler für eine erfolgreiche Batteriefertigung“, erklärt Ehsan Rahimzei vom VDMA Batterieproduktion.
Die Wertschöpfungskette der Batterieproduktion wird somit vollständig abgedeckt. Aktuell steigt die Nachfrage an Batterien generell an, wodurch der Bedarf an Produktionskapazitäten in Form von Großserienfertigung und Gigafactories wächst. Die Hälfte der global nachgefragten Li-Batterien stammt aus dem Bereich der Elektromobilität. Weiterhin ist die Speicherung von regenerativem Strom durch Batteriespeicher im Aufwärtstrend. Um die Nachfrage zu decken sind innovative und nachhaltige Technologien notwendig.
Der VDMA ist ein bedeutender europäischer Verbandsdienstleister und bietet das größte Maschinenbau-Netzwerk in Europa. Heute werden mehr als 3.200 Maschinenbau-Firmen vom VDMA vertreten. Der Maschinenbau in Deutschland ist mit ca. 1.052.000 Beschäftigten (2018) und einem Umsatz von 233 Milliarden Euro (2018) der größte Arbeitgeber und eine der führenden Branchen. Der VDMA Batterieproduktion wurde 2011 gegründet und thematisiert Produktionslösungen für stationäre und mobile Hochleistungs und Hochenergiespeicher mit derzeitigem Fokus auf der Lithium-Ionen-Technologie.
