SiAT Opens Nanomaterials Production Facility in Taiwan

Sino Applied Technology (SiAT) has commissioned a nanomaterials production facility in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The plant located in Zhongli Industrial Park is designed to produce 100 tons of silicon anodes and 1,000 tons of nanomaterials per year. In addition, it houses a research and development center where the company will continue to improve nanomaterials to enhance battery performance.

In-house processes to improve batteries

SiAT uses proprietary processes, including plasma-assisted process steps and dispersion methods. The company claims that its technologies improve the performance, capacity, and safety of battery systems. According to SiAT, its products can be easily integrated into existing large-scale battery manufacturing processes, eliminating the need for major changes to existing production lines.
