UKBIC ist das erste große britische Forschungsprojekt zur Generierung von Kompetenzen im Herstellungsprozesses von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien. Nachdem die ersten Planungen ab dem Jahr 2018 Fahrt aufgenommen hatten, ist das Werk nun weitestgehend betriebs bereit.
