CATL has signed a ten-year strategic collaboration with the Chinese electric vehicle start-up company Neta Auto. The partnership is set to begin in 2025 and will see CATL become Netaʼs preferred partner for vehicle batteries.
Collaboration in numerous areas
The two companies announced that they will also collaborate in the areas of zero emissions, CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis (CIIC), battery swapping, vehicle-to-grid, battery recycling, and market development. The partnership builds on a previous collaboration: In November 2021, CATL and Neta had signed a strategic partnership agreement for joint technology and supply chain development. Meanwhile, the Neta S Shooting Brake model, which is expected to be launched in the second half of 2024, will use the CIIC chassis and 800-volt fast charging technology jointly developed by Neta and CATL.
