TRICERA to Build Battery Storage System for Eurus in the Netherlands

“TRICERA energy” and Eurus Energy Europe have signed a contract to build a battery storage system near the Dutch town of Waardenburg. The grid-connected facility, with an installed capacity of 40 megawatt-hours and a capacity of 15 megawatts, is to be built in the municipality of West-Betuwe and to be integrated into Eurusʼ 21-megawatt wind farm and will participate in energy trading once completed.

System integration of Gotion High-Tech containers

Eurus is part of Toyota Tsusho Corporation and is active as a developer and investor in renewable energy projects in six European countries. TRICERA, a general contractor and system integrator for large-scale battery storage systems, is involved in the project with the engineering, construction of the entire plant with medium-voltage station, and system integration of the containers from battery manufacturer Gotion High-Tech. Being responsible for the balance of plant, TRICERA will be implementing numerous system components such as inverters, transformers, medium-voltage systems, and energy management systems.
