As part of the first Battery Production Days, the E-Mobility Production Awards will be presented for the third time on October 21st in Münster, Germany. Since 2023, the award, jointly presented by PEM of RWTH Aachen University, PEM Motion, and “Berylls by AlixPartners”, has honored companies that have distinguished themselves as pioneers in electric mobility production.
Applications being accepted
In 2025, the award will once again honor outstanding achievements in the manufacture of batteries and electric motors in the “DACH” region of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The organizing team is now accepting nominations for the audience award event, which is being held again this year. Companies interested in sponsoring this year’s awards can also contact the organizers. Categories and winners 2024
In 2024, the jury honored the VW plant in Braunschweig, Germany, for best Battery System Production and the BMW factory in Dingolfing, Germany, for best Electric Motor Production. The audience award for the most promising “Process Innovation in the Production of Battery Cells and Systems” went to Excillum from Sweden for the company’s worldwide brightest microfocus X-ray source, which is designed to enable scans of less than one second per battery cell and thus inline CT scanning in gigafactories.
