Around 500 participants and more than 50 partners are expected to attend the “New Battery World” in Munich on Thursday and Friday, February 27th and 28th. The two-day congress will focus on innovations and trends in battery technology, production, and charging infrastructure. The agenda includes keynotes, panels, and networking opportunities as well as a tour of the BMW Groupʼs prototype production facility.

The eventʼs central aspects include longer ranges with solid-state batteries, a circular economy through recycling, the charging infrastructure for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, the choice of location for battery factories, fast charging through battery swap solutions as well as more sustainability and decarbonization in batteries, production, supply chains, and recycling.
