Online Voting for E-Mobility Production Award Has Launched

As part of the first Battery Production Days in Münster, this year’s E-Mobility Production Awards will be presented on Tuesday, October 21st. The annual jury awards will reveal whether Volkswagen can defend its title as “best battery producer” with its plant in Braunschweig and whether BMW can defend its title as “best electric motor manufacturer” in the DACH region with its plant in Dingolfing from last year respectively. Meanwhile, voting is now open for the audience award for the best “Process Innovation in Battery Production.” Voting takes place via an online tool.

Ten candidates are up for selection

Ten companies are in the final round of the audience award with their innovations for promoting battery production in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 2024, Swedish technology company Excillum impressed the community with its battery cell fault detection system using CT scans. The E-Mobility Production Awards are presented jointly by the PEM Chair of RWTH Aachen University, PEM Motion, and “Berylls by AlixPartners.” The aim is to focus on the strengths and innovative power of battery and electric motor manufacturers in the DACH region and to promote exchange.

Tickets for the 2025 Battery Production Days are still available.
