Supporting supplieres and customers
According to the companyʼs own greenhouse gas audit, LEAD emitted 28,474 metric tons of CO₂ equivalents in 2023. With the help of material substitution in the production process, process optimization, and increased use of photovoltaic power generation the company aims to reduce this figure. LEAD also claims its photovaltaic capacity is expected to exceed 8.8 megawatt-hours by 2025, planning to cover 100 percent of usable rooftop areas by 2027. LEAD also says it will use certificates to offset unavoidable emissions. Meanwhile, the compoany has already converted its fleet to electric vehicles and is aiming to implement measures along the entire value chain. Thus, suppliers and customers are to be supported in the introduction of more efficient technologies and emission measurements.
